Tell us about yourself:

​

I was born in England but spent the first six years of my life in Athens, Greece before returning to the UK. Growing up I was passionate about football, and also played rugby and cricket. I had an interest in technology and this led me to study Computer Science at university where I graduated with a First-Class degree.

Soon after I graduated I started working for Halsys as a Junior Software Developer and moved to Reigate, I initially focused on the cruise line photography systems but over time my role expanded to include a wide range of projects across different areas within Halsys.

 

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me catching a Chelsea match, diving into some video games or just listening to music – I like pretty much everything from rock and punk to heavy metal and dance. I enjoy live music so I often go to concerts and events with my fiancée. I also enjoy coding in my free time, tinkering with side projects just for fun.

How long have you been with Halsys?

I started working at Halsys in September 2013.

 

What do you enjoy about working with the team?

​

What I enjoy most about working with the team is the genuinely supportive and easy-going atmosphere. Everyone is not only incredibly skilled in their roles but they’re also genuinely nice people. Theres a real sense of trust here in that you can fully count on each person to do bring their best. Its great to be part of a team where everyone collaborates so well.

 

What is your area of expertise?

My area of expertise is in software development. I enjoy problem-solving and learning new technologies to stay on top of the latest in development.

 

What’s your favourite feature of MaxLab?

​

My favourite feature in MaxLab might seem a bit technical (and boring) but it’s the incredibly powerful production system. Its built to support a scalable network of Agents that manage devices like Printers, allowing you to expand horizontally and in theory run hundreds of printers simultaneously – though that’s more capacity than most would ever need! The system can automatically route Jobs based on products and printer capabilities, balancing the workflow efficiently across all available devices. It’s a seamless setup for handling high-volume production and the level of automation is really awesome.

If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?

​

If I could pick any superpower, I’d probably go with teleportation. Being able to skip traffic and airports…attending a concert across the world and visiting new places in an instant would be awesome!
